Tim Koenig, cpcu, cic
Assistant Vice President, Training and Development at EHD
For more than 40 years, Tim has been providing insurance brokerage and program management services to businesses and organizations. Starting his insurance career with the Hartford Insurance Group, he moved to the independent agency side of the business in 1980, with positions in sales, client service and agency management. Since 1990, he has worked in the Wyomissing branch office of EHD, designing and managing commercial insurance and risk management programs for some of the firm’s largest and most prestigious firms, specializing in the Manufacturing and Construction industries. He has served as the Practice Group Leader of EHD’s Manufacturing Practice Group and also as the firm’s Training and Development Advisor, utilizing his technical expertise and experience to mentor and provide continuing professional education to agency staff.
Tim graduated from Shippensburg University with a B.S. Business Administration degree and has obtained the industry-respected Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designations. Over the years, Tim has served on a number of industry, association and community organization leadership boards. He and his wife, Anne, have two children and three grandchildren.

Christine Johnston, MBA
With over 25 years of experience in the PBM space, Christine Johnston is an accomplished pharmacy benefit leader and consultant with a demonstrated history of managing costs and improving processes for group plans. She is the co-founder and president of Foundational Pharmacy Strategies, which was recently acquired by MacroHealth, an industry-leading health technology platform leveraging interoperability and data analytics to create a first-of-its-kind Intelligent Health Marketplace as a Service platform. Before her time at MacroHealth, Christine led a small pass-through PBM. Christine is dedicated to lowering the overall cost of care to ensure individuals do not face difficult trade-offs between essential needs and necessary medications. After a 20-year break Christine completed her MBA with an emphasis in Leadership. And recently, in 2025, she was on a panel with Mark Cuban at the NABIP conference.

Her mission is to reduce risk, ensure compliance, and enhance financial outcomes through proactive oversight, education, and transparency. With a distinguished background in retirement plan fiduciary governance, Jamie now applies that expertise to healthcare benefits, guiding employers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective plans. A recognized industry thought leader, Jamie has delivered keynote presentations at industry conferences and earned the Marshall Allen Legacy Award for advancing fiduciary best practices. Jamie is passionate about making benefits meaningful and sustainable for employers and employees alike.
Brian Astrachan
Brian Astrachan is the Chief Product Officer at HealthJoy, where he leads product strategy for the company’s AI-powered Benefits Operating System. His work is centered on making employer benefits strategies work as designed—bridging the gap between complex plan design and employee engagement to drive meaningful cost containment. As a founding team member, Brian has been instrumental in scaling HealthJoy’s platform to help more than a million Americans navigate the healthcare system more effectively. Beyond his product leadership, he is a leading voice on the intersection of neuroscience and musculoskeletal health and the author of Chronic Lower Back Pain Relief Through the Brain-Body Sync. A Williams College graduate and former NCAA championship tennis player, Brian lives in Connecticut with his family and is passionate about leveraging science-backed technology to improve health outcomes at scale.

With deep expertise in employee engagement and cost containment, Brian specializes in turning complex healthcare data into actionable strategies that improve the member experience while also driving down claims costs for employers.
